Endoxan 50 mg Tablet is an anticancer medicine used for the treatment of various types of malignant diseases such as malignant lymphomas, Hodgkin’s disease, lymphocytic lymphoma, mixed-cell type lymphoma, histiocytic lymphoma, Burkitt’s lymphoma, multiple myeloma, leukaemias, mycosis, fungicides, neuroblastoma, adenocarcinoma of the ovary, retinoblastoma, breast carcinoma, etc. Endoxan 50 mg Tablet is also used to treat kidney disease known as a nephrotic syndrome in children after other treatments have not worked. It may be also used to treat other conditions, as determined by the doctor. Endoxan 50 mg Tablet works by slowing or stopping the growth of cancer cells in your body. When Endoxan 50 mg Tablet is used to treat nephrotic syndrome, it works by suppressing your body's immune system.
Endoxan 50 mg Tablet is not recommended for use in patients suffering from urine outflow obstruction disease, and patients who have a history of severe hypersensitivity reactions to it, any of its metabolites, or to other components of the Endoxan 50 mg Tablet. Endoxan 50 mg Tablet may cause nausea, vomiting, stomatitis (inflamed and sore mouth), weakness, malaise (general discomfort), fever, leukopenia (low white blood cell count), and alopecia (hair loss). You are advised to talk to your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen. It is a very strong medicine and some people may develop serious side effects while taking it. Endoxan 50 mg Tablet may lower your ability to fight infections and lead to problems with your blood, liver or kidneys. Your doctor will advise you regular blood tests to check for these.
