• Palbace 100 mg Capsule is an anticancer medicine. It contains palbociclib. It is used in adults with HR+ breast cancer that has spread (metastasized) to other parts of the body, combined with an aromatase inhibitor as first-line hormonal therapy or with fulvestrant in people whose disease has progressed after hormonal therapy.
  
  This medicine works by blocking proteins called cyclin-dependent kinases 4 and 6, which control cell growth and division. Blocking these proteins can slow down how cancer cells grow and delay how your cancer progresses.
  
  Some common side effects of this Palbace 100 mg Capsule may include dizziness, shortness of breath, weakness, bleeding or bruising more easily, nosebleeds, inflammation, tiredness, nausea, mouth sores, abnormal liver function tests, diarrhoea, hair thinning or hair loss, vomiting, skin rash, loss of appetite, low red blood cells and low platelets. If you have symptoms of infection such as fever, chills and weakness, bleeding or bruising, and nosebleeds, it is better to tell your doctor. It may also cause dizziness, if this happens avoid driving or alert activities.
  
  Before taking Palbace 100 mg Capsule tell your doctor about all your medical problems, especially fever, chills or other signs or symptoms of infection, or liver or kidney problems. Tell your health care team about all the medicines you are taking as many other medicines may interact with or affect this medicine. This medicine should not be used while pregnant or breastfeeding. To avoid becoming pregnant, use an effective form of birth control while you are taking this medicine.
  
  You can take Palbace 100 mg Capsule with or without food. Take it every day at your usual time. Swallow the tablet whole with a drink of water. Do not break, crush, chew or open this medicine after you have taken it. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember and do not skip doses. Skip the missed dose and return to your regular dosing schedule if it is almost time.

How to Use Palbace Capsule?

How Palbace Capsule Works?

• Palbace 100 mg Capsule is an inhibitor of CDK4 and CDK6. Cyclin D1 and CDK 4/6 are involved in the downstream regulation of signalling pathways that lead to cell proliferation. According to in vitro studies, Palbace 100 mg reduced the cellular proliferation of estrogen receptor-positive breast cancer cell lines by blocking the progression of the cell from the G1 phase of the cell cycle to the S phase.
